I think that this is a very important law because it makes sure that when judges are setting things like bail or punishment, they can't make it to cruel or make it impossible for the individual to pay if it was only something like a misdemeanor.

The 8th Amendment
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
I think that this is a very important law because it makes sure that when judges are setting things like bail or punishment, they can't make it to cruel or make it impossible for the individual to pay if it was only something like a misdemeanor.
I think that this is a very good point that is being stated that the court is protecting the grown ups but it doesn't help protect the children that are abused by their families.
